Retirement Today -The Active Living AlternateLife at this unique housing complex is far from “retiring” in the conventional sense of the word. Tenants take part in an active and outgoing social scene, participating in a multitude of activities ranging from ballroom dancing and Tai-Chi to social teas, concerts and even an annual talent show.
The tenants can also stop by one of the many comfortable lounges or private dining rooms for a quiet cuppa in the company of friends, or a friendly game of darts or billiards in the games room. Residents can also pursue a variety of favourite hobbies from quilting to woodworking.
Outside, winding paths ramble between beautiful flowerbeds and past a number of carefully tended garden plots – a testament to the pride and care invested by the many green-thumbed tenants of Peoples Park Tower.
For times when an excursion into the city is desired, Codiac Transit’s bus service stops right at Peoples Park Tower front door.
